I like the book. It provides nice frameworks for holding people accountable. It builds well on Kim Scott's "Radical Candor," which also discusses how to bring up hard topics with people around you because you have the best intentions for them and the company, team, or family.

I liked its CPR approach. Start with the Content when a problem happens one time. Point out the issue. Move to Pattern when it happens two or three times. Finally, address the relationship if you have a concern about that level.

I also liked how it addressed many people's fears. For example, the possibility of getting fired for keeping your boss accountable is very low, maybe 0.01%, but it can become vivid in your mind and make you think it's definitely going to happen, so you may not bring up your accountability conversation.

Another insight was that you often start acting passive-aggressively or sarcastically when you feel someone is not keeping their end of the bargain. It’s better to be transparent and have a conversation.

I rate this book's impact on me a 4 out of 5. I am rereading it.
