Personal OKRs: Insights From One Personal Journey To Build Habits And Measure Intangibles
I reflect on 2024 to share a framework for setting and following through on annual goals. I share how I navigated each area, my progress, and insights. I share these details to help you find relatable stories to spark your own inspiration. My 2024 goals are here.
I shared parts of this approach before, such as in my 2023 goals and mid-year review, and I continue to refine it. This year, I adapted my goals to be measurable and structured them to build lasting habits. These goals spanned six categories, listed by priority:
Family remained at the top.
I use personal goals as examples even though it makes me uncomfortable, because they make the framework more real. A Lorem Ipsum example wouldn’t offer the same clarity.
I spend 3 hours 26 minutes writing this. You need 9 minutes to read this and the split blogs.
